I like to use the camera on my phone to get pictures of products I see in stores (the product and the price) for later reference; also, for other information and notes.

Instead of clicking one icon to start my camera and then have all the images in one big folder, I'd like to have 3 or 4 camera icons, each one saving photos to a different (set in settings) folder. So I would click the "product" camera icon and all images go to the product folder, the "notes" camera icon sends all images to the notes folder, etc. Then the standard camera icon does the usual.

Is there an app (background service) like that out there?

I'm not sure, but you could definitely use something like Google Shopper or Shopsavvy to just scan the barcode and store the product info separately from the photos taken with your camera.

I do that all the time to keep stuff organized...like as soon as my wife or kid mention they want something, I either scan it (if at the store) or just manually add it into a Birthday or Christmas list I have created.
