My first android app: 2000 downloads in 15 days

I am a new android developer. My newly developed android app has got over 2000 downloads in 15 days.
Please suggest what can I do further to boost the download and promote my app.

Task Reminder, Task Scheduler, SMS scheduler, Task manager, Birthday Reminder, Birthday SMS scheduler,Morning SMS scheduler, Track your Pending Tasks. Categorize Your Tasks, Schedule your tasks daily,weekly and monthly.
Use as Personal Digital diary, Memo.
See you daily ,weekly and monthly tasks .

Here are my 2c.

1. It's not clear from the description what this app does. Is it a todo list with sms notifications?

2. The space of todo list apps is very crowded and the apps with top download show up high in the market search which creates a vicious cycle for small app developers. Maybe you can position it as something else (notification app? reminder app?).

3. Work on your SEO. Thinks of search term people may use and make sure your title and description have these words.

4. This forum is not a good place to promote downloads. Response to developers posting is weak in general.

5. Try to get mentioned on a serious blog (easy said than done). This can increase your download rate x100.

The days where any trivial app got 100k's of download are over. The Market is more mature and there is much more money and talent invested in app marketing.
