I just got the Premium version of ROM Manager, basically for the Download Backup Server feature.

I am able to download the nandroid backup zips from my device (Nexus 4), and my hope was to then delete them from my phone to free up space.

But how do I restore the backup to my phone in case I need to do a restore using it? I see no option to do that in ROM Manager. And navigating to where the backups are contained on the root system folder (they're not on the sdcard anymore), the files are not in .zip format.

Can anyone explain this to me? TIA.

You should use try the "Nexus 4" Forum , you would get more specific advice for your Nexus 4

Hope that may help & Good luck

When you 'download' the backup, you are downloading a flashable zip file. So to restore, you simply copy it to your SD card, and boot into recovery - then just flash the zip and boom, restored!
