The AIRS app (https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...store/apps/details?id=com.airs&token=lYudv3j2) allows for recording a large variety of data from your mobile device, including location traces, surrounding wifis, phone-internal sensors, attached sensors such as the Zephyr HxM heart rate monitor and many more. All data is under your control and you determine what to record, when and how. The app is optimised for battery consumption - even GPS recording with surround noise levels and more takes only around 3% per hour on my Galaxy Nexus (if you use adaptive GPS, you can cut this even further). You can annotate recordings with our text as well as quickly input your mood through own widgets.

The companion app Storica (https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...re/apps/details?id=com.storica&token=QexhSt5I) allows for processing and visualising the AIRS recordings right on your phone, without the need to transfer data off. Data is shown through engaging multimedia stories around 'meaningful events' and fly-over maps as well as through context-enriched media galleries. Storica uses a calendar-based entry interface, allowing for recollection of past experiences and you can create well-known locations with own pictures and text labels being used in the stories. It's really engaging and fun to look back!

Check both apps out in the market!
