Yesterday I visted my parents: I saw Data Usage Warning from Samsung DUOS (just 1 Sim card)
There have been downloaded in the last two days 3GB in words THREE GIGABYTE in the background .
Some a nice person my parents has probably enabled the mobile data usage AND WiFi is off ( I was not ) .
So they use mobile internet since 22.Nov . unnoticed, which would not be too bad at 5 - 10MB a day. But now my parents do not have internet tariff!!! the provider now charges 20cent/min . at 3GB which are by 600 Bucks !
My questions:
a) where the 3GB come from within two days . The use has evolved from 22.Nov . to 5th December not changed : They Read 1-2 emails a day and use some WhatsApp . OK,The background synchronization was on (but I ve also tunred it on @ my device and I use K- 9mail very much) but they also delete all their e-mails on their PC after they have read it ( unlike me ) , so nothing could have been synced as well and if so, only a few KB .
b ) where I could find out what has caused this load
My mother is mega frustrated and the house blessing depends powerfully wrong. Thank you for your support very much in advance
