Handcent/Chomp SMS ??

Is there a way to get rid of the new message indicator in either of these apps (handcent or chomp)? Its my first time using either and cant seem to find a solution

Not to aske the obvious, but just want to make sure. Have you tried reading the messages?

Also, do you have both installed at the same time? I remember having some issues when I was auditioning messanging apps a year or so ago and uninstalling one made the isssue go away (I chose Handcent for what its worth, but like Hangouts better now).

Finally, what device and version of Andorid are you using these apps on.

Yes I have, it does go away when i do, but i dont want it there at all. I am on CM 10
