Navfree is a GPS app that stores the map data on your device and does not require data during use.

Google maps works fine on my note 3 without any connection using only gps. But on my LG G pro it does not. 😟

Osmand offers offline maps /navigation and is free. (But I like Navfree better)

I have the paid releases of Copilot and Sygic and prefer Copilot a bit more. Google maps is fine, but takes too long to redirect and cannot be used whilst the phone is being used. Osmand and maps with me or whatever definitely do not meet my needs. I also have a standalone GPS in the car.
