"News" in Accounts & sync

I'm just wondering what happens for you guys when you go to Settings > Accounts & sync > Add account, and press News. 'Cause for me, absolutely nothing happens. The button lights up while I keep it pressed, but that's it. I've been having issues with my Sense News widget not updating on its own properly, so I was thinking there might be something wrong with the News app in my phone altogether.
