App for a remote video camera for my old Droid and a tablet

Currently my wife and I have a Samsung S5 each as our smartphones. I have an old Droid Bionic (not part of my plan anymore), my wife has a Samsung Tablet and we also have a dog and a cat that we want to keep an eye on when we are both at work. I can still access the internet from the wifi at my house and of course so can my wifes tablet.

Are there any suggestions for remote video camera apps we could get from the play store that would work with our wifi at home, that we could watch our dog and cat with remotely?

We really have two main reasons we want to spy on them...first, we suspect our dog is eating our cats food, we want to verify this first before changing things around the house. Second, both of them are easily frightened when it rains, specifically with heavy thunder and lightning. We want to see what they do when we are not there....do they whine or cry or hang out together?
