Why is Chrome so slow after updating to the newest version (37)?

I stopped using Chrome Beta when they updated to the new material design, and now that the update has been released for Chrome, both run very slow and lag a ton no matter what webpage I load.

I have tried clearing the data, force closing, uninstalling, changing some advanced settings, but nothing helps.

Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have a fix?

I have exactly the same problem, but I do'nt have a solution, except uninstall the _tihs_!!

Chrome on android has been a real POS for months now. It's actually so bad that I have safari envy now.

I dunno. Works fine for me fwiw. Chrome version 38...
