So google will back up your apps(Market apps) and wifi settings for you, and if you have a backup of your existing Rom on your sd card, please tell me why I need Titanium Backup?

Titanium Backup saves data within your apps - like the level you're on in Angry Birds, or the lists you've made in Note Everything. When Google reloads your apps after a reset, the apps come back with no data. Even log-ins are lost.

Here is another TB question...

After flashing CM6.1 RC5 I tried to use it to reinstall all of my apps. Didn't work. For whatever reason it was taking WAAAAAY too long. It was only at 30% after about an hour. Then it just hung there, seemingly unresponsive. I don't know what I'm doing wrong really. The other day a scheduled backup hung as well. Does it normally take a long time for these things to happen? I would love to use this so I didn't have to log-in, replay, or other such things for all my apps. I want to flash CM6.1 today, but I don't want to spend half a day fixing my apps up again.. :(
