Why aren't autoupdates happening for Beta apps in the Google Play store?

Autoupdates not happening for Beta apps in google play store

My apps are in beta testing.

Auto updates are not happening for my app and if I manually update my app it gets updated successfully. My device settings are perfect and I have selected an option auto update anytime. Also tried uninstalling updates to Google play store and clearing cache then rebooting my device. Also, tried various other things but my app is not autoupdating.

I am not making any major changes like there is not change in permissions for app etc. , still autoupdates are pending.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

If an application requires new permissions or has new terms and conditions, it will not be able to Auto Update from the Google Play Store.

I have not assigned any new permissions to this app.
Can you please elaborate what do you mean by new terms and conditions?
I have simple updates to app logic and I am not updating any other configuration.
Also, is there any specific time interval in which apps get autoupdated via auto update option?

No worries. When an app updates and you have to okay it access to things by clicking 'agree' is what i meant. If it's unclear let me know and I'll see if i can snag a screenshot!
