Latest SHealth upgrade f'd up pedometer; when will it be fixed; or, can I roll back the upgrade?

Old version of SHealth did not require a password; new version is useless (tracks nothing) without one!

I used to be able to rely on the pedometer; now its useless without logging into the application every few hours! I should simply unistall the piece of crap; or, find a way to roll it back to a previous version!
