I've seen older threads discuss this, but nothing recent so I'm asking about the Copy Image function of Android Chrome.

There have been a sudden influx of emoji image sites lately where the idea is you long press on one of these emojis and select Copy / Copy Image, then paste it in your messaging app.

Within Android Chrome, the option for Copy Image is there but it doesn't work and when you paste, it is just a colored square. This type of copy and paste appear to work on the Touchwiz browser as well as iOS.

Does anyone know of a work around other than just saving an image and sharing it? That sort of thing basically defeats the purpose of how these work.

I've tried to see if some clipboard apps would allow me to share the image to it to copy it, but haven't found one yet that works.

I've tried Firefox, UC Browser, and Dolphin, but none of them have the Copy Image option like Chrome.

Any ideas?
