A2DP and MixZing

I absolutely love the mixzing player, I noticed that there is an option to use bluetooth controls on it in settings but i'm still having a problem, my motorola S9's I havn't tried my other pair of bluetooth headphones on the phone seem to still just operate the default music player, is there a way I can disable this on the player that ships with it or do I need to make mixzing my default player somehow, any help would be appreciated
