Facebook battery drain

Has anyone noticed a decrease in battery life after the update that includes chat?

Only noticed it once, but that was because I accidentally left the chat feature running. Every time I go into chat, I make sure I log off before I back out of facebook. That is expected with most chats I've used on the Evo.

I haven't noticed any battery drain on my Fascinate, and that's without logging out of chat every time I close the app.

I turned off notifications on my wife's Evo yesterday. Normally by the end of the day her battery was down to about 10%. Today its only at 40%. Her chat was always turned off. Only notifications was on.
