Hello,

I make that thread to present you SPL Sound Meter a free application that lets you to measure sounds and noises around you. SPL Sound Meter is freely available on Google Play Store : https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ails?id=com.ssaurel.soundmeter&token=M_xIUJxF

It uses built-in microphone or your device to measure sounds. SPL (Sound Pressure Level) Sound Meter comes with an elegant gauge view to show the exact level of sound in decibels. Graphic view is also available to visualize evolution of sounds around the time when you measure it. Application informs you about current noises to better understand what represents sounds you measure.

SPL (Sound Pressure Level) Sound Meter offers you a screen to calibrate the level of noises of your microphone because it depends also of your hardware specifications.

Hello,

I made version 1.1 with some bug fixes :

- Decibels unit is now always displayed with "dB".
- Wake Lock is enabled when you measure sounds and noises from home screen.

Don't hesitate to tell me if you have other ideas.

Thank you. This will help my dad who has hearing problems. He can know how loud a room is and adjust his device accordingly.

Thanks again.
