I found an app (PocketCal) that is perfect for my need but it's written for iPAD. Screenshots at PocketCal

It features:

* 2, 3, 6 and 12 month views
* Current day highlighted
* Easily and quickly jump to any month or year
* Gregorian calendar
* Option to show week numbers
* Option to start the week on any day
* Flick left or right to go to the previous or next year
* Flick up or down to shift the calendar one row (1, 2 or 3 months)
* Both Landscape and Portrait are supported

I've searched but have been unable to find an Android equivalent. Any suggestions.

While I use Pure Calendar (linked to Jorte), it doesn't do everything you ask.

it does do the following:

* Current day highlighted
* Gregorian calendar
* Option to show week numbers
* Option to start the week on any day
* Both Landscape and Portrait are supported

It does not do this, all of which are tied to its inability to do the first one (if you can't display multiple months, you can't switch between them easily)
* 2, 3, 6 and 12 month views
* Easily and quickly jump to any month or year
* Flick left or right to go to the previous or next year
* Flick up or down to shift the calendar one row (1, 2 or 3 months)

I'm not overly familiar with calendar options, but haven't seen anything like PocketCal on Android. There's a pretty popular one called Gemini Calendar, but I don't know what kindof options it has since I haven't used it.

The problem is that it is only available for iPAD. I would think that an enterprising Android developer could whip sometime like this up without much trouble (hint, hint).

I can't be the only one that would find a widget like this VERY helpful.
