App to prevent standby when plugged-in?

My new Lenovo Tab2 10.1" tablet forces standby after 1-30 minutes.

There is no setting for NONE.

I'm trying to use this as a calendar kiosk. I can't have the screen going black.

Is there any app that could prevent the laptop from going dark?

Thanks,
Mike

Go to Settings>Developer Options and see if you have a Stay Awake option--that should keep the screen on as long as it's plugged in and charging.

If you don't see Developer Options, then go to Settings>About Tablet and tap Build Number 7 times.

Thanks B. Diddy! The developer option does indeed prevent the display from turning off if plugged in. Very clever!

However, after a minute with it plugged in, the screen dims to 50%.

The tablet is for my 82 year old mom: it sits on an easel on the kitchen counter and displays calendar and to-do info. With her vision, the screen needs to remain at 100% brightness.

So, is there any way to fake it out to not be "idle"?

Thanks again for a very creative solution for the power-off problem!

Mike
