Why is my google search app opening on it's own?!?!?!?!?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime with the newest os and lately I'll be watching something and it will randomly pause the video and switch to the google app does any one know how to fix this?

Do you have the global 'OK Google' detection active? Maybe it's mistaking audio from the video or your surroundings and prompting Google Now to pop up.

I disabled the app compleatly about an hour ago but it's still doing it.

If the app is disabled it shouldn't be running... are you sure it's the Google Search app? what about if you boot your phone in Safe Mode, does it do it too?

I think it stopped but I don't want to jynx it or something but its ******* weird and if it starts happening again I'll probably just get a new phone.
