Default Is there an app for this?

I am looking for an app that will automatically turn wifi on depending on if there is a connection and the password has been entered before. Is there an app for this? Thanks.

I don't thinks so, since without the wifi on, it's not going to be able to scan for networks to know they are there.

However, you could use something like Locale or Tasker or Setting Profiles which will allow you to turn the wifi off and on based on your current location. For example, my wifi is usually off, but turns on automatically as I get home or to the office, then of course it automatically connects to the network there.

wifi at home is a good app for that it turns your wifi on and off. if your at home its on then you can set it up for any distance from your house to shut it off. and it remembers your saved pass codes
