Hello,
I have a customer who used a Palm with Handy Shopper to search/sort a list of ICD-9 Medical Codes.
You can see these codes here:
Online ICD9/ICD9CM codes
Basically, the customer uses a flat file that is a list of codes that look like this:
CODE Disease Name
xxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx
The list can be replicated in Excel or any office to go product. However, searches are slow and cumbersome and take you from result to result rather than display all matches simultaneously.
What handy shopper did that was unique was only display Search Matches.
For example:
When you go into your contacts list on your android and type "Bob" it shows all the "Bobs" and excludes all names that do not have Bob in them.
Similarly, my customer would like to be able to type in a few letters from the Disease/Condition and have the app search/sort to only show matches.
I know this is possible, but I am not sure what of the best way to do this.
Thanks for your time!
