Best app to remote access my Win 7 PC?

I use Remote VNC Pro on my Droid and TightVNC on my PC...and it works great. Now I do not have WIN7 though...I have Vista, but TightVNC is good with WIN7.

Yes it does at 8 or 24 bit only. No ability to transfer files though.

I use phonemypc. Best app IMO. Kinda pricey for an app but well worth it. Runs very smooth on my windows 7 machine.

Anyone have any idiot instructions on how to get it set up? I have done all I know how and just cant get a connection. If anyone could take the time to give some quick step by step set up help I would really appreciate it.... I would like to call myself tech savy but this is new to me.
