Why does Stitcher hate the EVO?

I sent in a major complaint to Stitcher devs about the CPU drain problem on my EVO. The only response I get back is, "Don't blame us, blame HTC." But why is it that DoggCatcher, TuneIn, and iHeartRadio all have low CPU usage, but Stitcher can't manage that? Can someone tell me why Stitcher doesn't care about us EVO users?
