A quick novice question about the market.

Sorry for what might be a dumb question but:

If I buy & download paid apps from the market, what happens if I need to reset the phone? Is it up to me to backup the apps (if so, where - SD card or PC) or does the market keep a record & link my account & phone so I can re-download again if needed?

If you reset, the apps will show back up in your market as paid. An easy way to re-sync your apps is by setting up an AppBrain account Top Android Apps and Games in the Android Market | AppBrain.com
