I stumbled upon a weird occurance. I currently use my Google Voice account for just voicemail. I have the no-answer-forwarding option activiated on my Verizon number.
Recently, on 2 different occasions, I didn't receive notification of GV voicemails until almost 12 hours later. It occured to me that in both cases, I "silenced" the incoming call with the slider.
So I did an experiment...
I called, let it ring through, left a voicemail and a notification came up almost instantly, throught he GV app.
I then called, rejected the call with the slider, left a message and a notification took almost 5 minutes to come through.
Very strange. Can anyone else duplicate these findings?
