volume control on full. can't adjust

does anyone know how to adjust the volume on AA.
I'm using a galaxy S6 and overtime i get a text or notification etc it is amazingly loud... and the "media" in volume is set to full... but as soon as i unplug it it goes back to normal... trouble is you can't adjust it while its plugged in.

does anyone know how this can be changed...
I'm using a pioneer heading also and can't seem to find it in there either

When you adjust the volume in AA on the head unit, you will see a little alert button at the right corner. Try tapping that and lowering its value.

ill give that a try ASAP. but I've played with the head unit a bit last night and didn't see any of that on the right corner.
I'm running a pioneer AVHX8750BT unit

Yeah, I haven't seen a way to adjust it either. It is WAY loud.
I am using a Pioneer NEX-8100
