Spotify issue

I love the Spotify app on Android Auto, but 90% of the time it doesn't load the "Radio" sections. "Browse" comes up every time with all the options, but only once in a while will "Radio" work work. When I pike Radio and hit any of the three options, they just open to an empty list. Your Stations, Recommended Stations, and Genre Stations all load nothing almost every time. Once in a while, for no apparent reason, it will populate a list and they will all work. Then next time I try them, not working again.

Has anyone else had this issue?

All the time. I also get a "Spotify is not working right now" message from time to time. Also, the queue is empty pretty frequently.

As an update, I submitted a support ticket, and their suggestion was to update my phone to marshmallow. Not very helpful. They don't seem to want to take responsibility for their own app.
