Here's a shot of a couple of Androids keeping me company at my desk. This was taken with my new Galaxy Note II. I used color touch for some color and BW separation, then popped it into SnapSpeed to experiment with some different filters. Lastly, I used Instagram with the Lo-Fi filter setting.

I took this picture in the cemetery of a beautiful old church in Charleston. Many of the gravestones - like this one - are hand carved from English slate. The lettering and images are remarkably detailed and have held up to the elements over then centuries surprisingly well. Much better than this one, which was off to the side with a pile of other damaged gravestones. This particular stone dates from the 1730's.

The picture was taken using then stock camera app on my Galaxy Nexus and the filters were applied with Snapseed.

This was a candid of my son and grandson. It was backlit and ended up looking hazy. It was pretty much unusable, but I didn't want to lose the moment so I applied the Comic Boom filter in Paper Camera and tweaked the sliders till I got this.
