Etymotic MC2 headphones bring quality sound to your Android devic
Music has always been a huge part of my day to day activities, it tends to help set the mood for the day for me, and motivate me to keep on going. Whether having the worst day of my life, or the best day of my life, there is a different set of tunes that I enjoy to listen to, and nothing is worse then listening to some of my favorite tunes through a low quality pair of headphones. While the price of headphones continues to rise, unfortunately the quality of them does not rise the same across the board, but the folks at Etymotic were kind enough to prove that their headphones were in a class of there own.
While presentation is not everything, the box in which the headphones ship was a very nice box which held the headphones firmly inside, which was great since there was no chance of shipping damage. After unboxing I immediately read about the fitting of the headphones, being as there was several different options of ear piece sizes I wanted to read about them and see which ones would be best for me. After watching some videos from their site, and reading a bit about the fit I decided on a tip and tried them on. Initially the fit was a bit odd, that was until they fit my ear properly and then they were extremely comfortable. Since most of the tips were the type you squeeze and then they expand in your ear, the fit was great, and it blocked a lot of the outside noise from occurring.
Immediately I jumped into my music selection, checking out some hip hop, some indie, some rock and just about everything else, because I like such a wide variety of music it all needs to sound good. The bass was great, and the treble rang just as nicely, giving a wide range of sound levels, and satisfying my needs on all music. The biggest turn off for me is headphones that are too heavy on the bass or to high on the treble, but the MC2 gave me a great mix of both, and allowed me to happily switch between genres of music, without feeling the need to switch between headphones as well.
If you are in the market for a new set of headphones, the MC2 from Etymotic are a great set of headphones, and if you have the additional patience you can actually have a set of custom made ear inserts made, that will fit your ear old and improve the sound quality even further.
Pictures to come in a little.
