What's the difference between Android Central and Android Forums?
I take it they're not related in any way? I tried logging on there with the same user name and password but it wouldn't recognize me, so I just ended up creating a new account.... - 08-08-2011, 11:15 AM #2
The two websites are owned and operated by two completely separate entities, which is why you couldn't use their login credentials here. It would be like trying to put a battery from your EVO Shift into a Samsung Epic and then trying to turn it on - not gonna work

Re: Android Forums
I have an account over at Android Forum, but I haven't logged on for a long while now. I don't see the need of having two Android forums relating to the same things.
Android Central says it better. (And yes, I'm being a little bias.)

Re: Android Forums
When I first joined AC, Android Forums had way more members - but we are quickly catching up. And I like the members better here, which is why you see me posting now

Re: Android Forums
OK, thanks for the info.... if you have a question on your device or how to do something, is it acceptable to post it both places, or is that frowned upon?

Re: Android Forums
You can post it on as many different websites as you like.

I have a account for both as well. Though I gravitate towards Android Central and call it my home
The community is great on both forums and its nice to have options in the community we call Android.
