I also am hoping for this phone to come to Verizon, but the longer I wait and the more I look for updates on the web (daily), the more concerned I am getting about the validity of this rumor. Every article that I see that says the Note ("Journal"), is coming to Verizon, or that it has been confirmed to be coming to Verizon, always points back to the original article by the Examiner from Jan 16th that quotes the well respected industry analyst Paul Mueller of LA stating that it should show up in Q1 of this year. I tried to Goolge industry analyst Paul Mueller of LA and was unable to find any hard reference to him. Additionally, he has been quoted in the past by the same Examiner reporter concerning new phone rumors and I am saddened to say that a number have actually not been true. I fear that we are being toyed with.
Anyway, I will wait a little longer to see what happens. I hope it does come to Verizon as I prefer their coverage. I even signed the on line petition as Change.org asking that Verizon support this phone (over 3000 signatures as of today... search "Samsung Galaxy Note" on their website to find). But, if it does not I will have to then wait to see if Verizon will be getting the Samsung Galaxy SIII, or whatever they will eventually call it, as it looks to be a phenomonal phone, with a quad core processor and only a slightly smaller screen size than the Note. The big question will be how long, if ever will it take Verizon to get this cutting edge phone and will someone then dangle the carrot to keep us waiting for its arrival as might be the case for the Note???
