Is it weird to carry a battery?

Is it weird to carry a back up fully charged battery to everywhere I go?

I don't think so. Sometimes I take an extra one with me (in my wallet) so I don't have to worry about being tethered to a charge somewhere, instead just swap out for a fresh battery and go. I'd much rather have that option over a larger capacity non-removable battery (ex. RAZR MAXX). At least should something happen that drains the battery unexpectedly, you have the option to swap out for a fresh one in minutes.

I used to do that for my s2. Now I have an extra battery charged up at home because my s3 will last around 10 hours. Do is not word at all.

It's not weird at all. When I had my EVO with its 2 hour battery time (5 hours if you didn't use it) I would have 4, plus an external charger for when I'm near an outlet or I would let it charge while I'm at work
