5 years and 7 phones later, I have not purchased any paid Android apps yet... (except one that I got a refund for)

are there people who are cheapskates like me who only download the free apps in the Play Store?(formerly Android Market)

I'm sure you're not the only one who hasn't bought apps. I like to support developers who build quality apps, so I'll gladly pay for an ad-free app rather than use a free one (but sometimes the free ones are better than paid ones).

Meh...I just use whatever I feel is the best app, regardless of if it's free or not.

I am also like using free apps only. But I liked tapatalk so much that I purchased it on both iOS and android. Its the only paid app I have.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. There are some apps I am considering going pro with because I like them so much will see how that goes.

    I wait for sales.

My wife like the swiftkey trial, when it went on sale for 1.99 we bought it.
Tapatalk 4 did the 99 cent deal last week, bought it.
Zombie Run 2 sale, bought it.

I don't mind free ad supported apps, but sometimes if the opportunity arises I will buy it. But as a developer I also believe in supporting developers.
