    A refurb blackberry I had logged me into the previous owner's Pandora account. I've heard similar from smart TVs too. Why doesn't a factory wipe clear everything?

    Google says it tells everyone to encrypt their files before a reset (though it's still not totally secure).

    I'm going to call BS on this one. Ive never had that happen after a full device wipe. Now, if they want to provide pictures as proof, then maybe I'll reconsider.

    Haha, yes a special part of their website, porn.avast.com! An interesting post, thanks Madd. It does seem only to be old phones, yet the way I read it requires some user intervention (enabling encryption before wiping data).
