You could take the face off and update it to the T730's and flash the T720c with T730 firmware - so that's what I did.

Oh and in addition to putting the T730 face on my T720c, I flashed T730's firmware onto my T720c.

Not counting the flip phones....Blackberry Curve 9530, BB Curve 9630, BB Tour, OG Motorola Droid, DINC2. I went through 6 blackberry phones in 5 months, left Sprint for Verizon Feb2011 after getting a second hand OG Droid, and haven't looked back since.

Re: Post Your Phone Timeline

  • Ericsson R520m - still have (but with broken charger & battery slider)
  • Sony Ericsson T300 - (I really liked the form factor of this phone. Was pretty happy with it. Oh, those mophun games hunting times... )
  • Nokia 7650 - (overall bad experience, low internal memory < 4MB, bad slide system, hard joystick)
  • Siemens SX1 - (overall bad experience, slow, unstable - many times had to hard reset and lost data)
  • Nokia 3650 - still have (overall bad experience, unstable - so many restarts when using different apps.. )
  • SPV C600 (HTC Tornado) - still have (first "personal" experience with WM, I've enjoyed this phone much.. one of good HTC phones)
  • HTC Touch Pro - (junk phone - slow WM, thanks to HTC for jumping to cheap under-performing qualcomm chipset)
  • HTC Hero - (my first Android phone - too bad HTC ruined it with the same cheap chipset as on prev phone, multi touch bug, extremely low internal memory.. and the problem was that HTC sold it as high tech device. Thank you HTC, my last phone from this greedy company)
  • Samsung Galaxy S - (finally someone boost Android scene with good hardware: superb CPU+GPU performance, more than 1,5GB internal storage, multi-touch THAT work and overall fast Android with FAST browser.. something that you couldn't get from overhyped and over-expensive htc . This was the first time Apple feared.)
  • Samsung Galaxy SII - still have (because the nature of Android, the apps takes a lot of RAM, so I wanted a device with more RAM. Even 1GB is still not enough for Android 4+. Many times I got my browser with many tabs closed when switching to an app and back. But, this is the best device I ever owned)
  • Sagem My X5m - still have (I bought just because I liked very much in its time..)
  • iPhone 5 - still have (didn't have the occasion to test too much because I got a defective device (extremely poor wifi signal, had to stay near router to got signal). I'm waiting for an exchange. But one big minus for Apple: where is the quality assurance? How can you release a overpriced phone with such major flaws?)
