Just wanted to make a thread to see if there are any GLBT users on the Android platform out there. There was an ongoing thread at crackberry for blackberry users. Just wanted to start one up for Android users. This is a place just to chat so please nothing offensive.

I'm Foxman, I'm from Hungary, I use the HTC Hero, now get ready for the Android Central pod... I mean, wait, what?

Anyway, I reside in good ol' continental Europe, Budapest, Hungary. That's pretty far from where I guess most of the forumites live (the US). I noticed the time difference anyway, most of my day there's no activity in the forums, by the time I go to sleep the US wakes up, and when I wake up, there's a huge amount of posts to look through.

Well, I'm actually quite busy with school this month. The end of the spring semester is upon me, so more and more I find myself overwhelmed by tests, homework projects and the such. Any other university students among us beside me?

And no, I haven't seen it. Actually, we have some lousy TV programs here in Hungary, not many LGBT themed TV programs at all.

Sorry to hear about your families medical problems!

And no, I haven't watched that. I'm a very odd duck. Except for Will & Grace I'm not really into gay music, forms of entertainment, or bars. My interests include soccer, hockey, running, technology, hiking, and mountain biking. Other than those things, I'm pretty boring. As far as relationships go, I was in one for 8 years and I swore (and still swear) I will never do it again. I do like nice clothes & art though haha.

Yeah. I normally don't watch gay shows myself. I'm not opposed to them just never seems to happen.

Oh and Cory thanks for the wishes. My uncles passing away from mesothelioma (sp? FYI lung cancer) from gasses they used in the war when he was younger. Really sad. The price we pay.

Anywho, I watched the first and second season of RuPauls show. Been addicted to it. She actually performed here in my small city a few years ago. Surprised she would come here. She's not as nice as some think, but it could all be hearsay.

So we should make this thread as big as crackberrys. I'm a former Storm1 user.

I know, they are but they're more chatty on their designated phone area, LOL. I normally get on through my phone since my computer is hooked up to my flat screen TV and I can't miss a minute of TV. LOL. I do check this thread to make sure it isn't dying. So we know where the 5 of us live/phone we use..what's everyone do for a living?
Oh and if I didn't say I use the Moto Droid.

What do I do for a living? Nothing yet except the occasional summer job, but hopefully that will change in little more than a year and a half. Until then, I'll be finishing my studies at university, I'm going for a bachelor's in IT engineering and I plan on majoring in embedded systems. I've been talking with one of my professors (he gave lectures in Logic Design last semester, I aced that class hence the offer), and if I'm very lucky, I might just get a part time job-thing as lab assistant for the FPGA 101 lab for first year student next semester.
