Have any ideas on a car for me?

Since I basically live on this website I decided maybe throw this out there and see what you guys think as I'm truly lost on what car to get. I'm leasing by the way.

I need seating for 6-7, a USB or aux connection for my Eris to use as an MP3 player, decent stereo and speakers, bluetooth, and XM radio availability. Finally has to have good acceleration - not a sports car but still.

I don't think it's that hard but I'm having a lot of trouble finding one that matches me. SUV, CUV, car, whatever. I can't pay more than 28K and new cars only please.

The Toyota Highlander has an option for a third row seat, and it has iPod aux and Bluetooth as options. It could be close to that 28k. Otherwise, I guess you need to look at minivans - Sienna, Odyssey, Mazda, Grand Caravan, etc. Maybe the Expedition or Sierra for the third row seat (though not sure of the prices on those)?

The Mazda 5 fits the bill.
3 rows of seating, 153 hp and fully loaded for ~$24,000.

I tell ya what, I got three cars that I love. My Impala, My Jeep, and my Camero.

Sadly the jeep is the only one that fits all that you want. But you said 6-7 people!?

Only a few vehicles can handle that level of people. Like the Yukon, or a big ole van. Thats your choices really.

Whats more important: seating? or not

Built an Equinox with a 3.0L 6 Cyl for 28,000. You can get a very fuel efficient (best in class) 2.4L, but you most likely would suffer in the acceleration department. The 2LT Comes with Bluetooth standard. Downside- seating for 5 only :/

Its a shame they D/C'd the Trailblazer. That probably would have been ideal for you price wise. It came in an optional EXT with a 3rd row seat. The Tahoe is definitely out of pricerange. I really like my TB and the 4.2L is probably GM's most reliable engine and has some nice pep. May want to see if you can score a 2009 on lease.

Dodge has a Caravan SE G with the upgraded audio package comes out to 27,000. The bluetooth will require UConnect which I don't know how much that is. The UConnect is the shnikies though, one variety of it offers unlimited 3G internet

For Ford, there is the Ford Flex. Its less than $30,000 as a base. Don't know if it includes bluetooth but it does have aux audio jack at that price.

We have a Chevy Express 12-passenger and used to have a Suburban. Then again, we have six kids so we need the space. The Suburban did all of the things that you are looking for but only the newer ones without aftermarket help and those start in the mid 40s FWIW. If I were looking for a new car today, I would go with the Ford Flex. I'm pretty sure that it would be closest to meeting what you're looking for and hits the price point pretty well. Another one that could be, but I'm not entirely sure, is the Mazda cx-9.

2 15" subs in a custom all acrylic sub box built by myself. 1800 Watts RMS in a smart car is fun.

Every time I see those cars I imagine what would happen in a car accident.

Looks like you would at the very least lose both your legs, worst, you life. They aren't rated very high in safety, neither are the Toyota Yaris'. MSN did a report on small cars and other comparable cars with the same gas milage from the same manufacturers a while back. The normal sized cars all did significantly better.
