Purple haze all in my brain
Lately things just don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky

This week we want to see some lens flare! Make sure there's a bright light in your camera view (don't stare into the sun!) and adjust the angle until you get some of the shiny rays of light. They don;t have to be purple, but you get bonus points if they are.

The prize? Five of you guys and gals will get a series 3 Android mini collectible. They're already all sold out, so this is a great way to get one into your hot little hands.

One entry per person.
One entry household

Good luck!

A Throwback pic using my Touchpro 2 hacked with Xandroid in Hawaii

I knew this bad pic would be good for something one day lol :D

The two trees below were taken in CA with my HTC Evo 4G LTE running CM10

And this one is some Purple Haze at Austin City Limits at the Red Hot Chili Peppers taken with the HTC Evo 4G LTE stock. (Does this kind of purple haze count...?)

Almost 700 shots taken from my One X, and this is all I could get.

No purple, but it kinda reminds me of Tatooine with the flare looking like another sun :P

Just got back from London 3 days ago...

How about in front of St Paul's Cathedral or from the Thames towards Parliament and Big Ben??

Errr, I guess only big ben.

These pictures were taken after I just buried a dog :( . On to the purple haze, the sun in both shots has a haze. My question is - what is the small orb which rises from picture 1 to a higher spot in picture 2 (and then takes on a haze as well)...

Oh yeah, these were taken with the "naked eye" of a MoPho with no filters and no edits.

This is a picture from the bottom of the Devil's Den in Florida. Taken with my HTC Thunderbolt.

And for fun, a picture also from my HTC Thunderbolt pointed directly at the sun.

Here is one for you, sorry no purple haze.
But do have a nice bright reflection off the prop

The partial solar eclipse of May 20, with an upside-down image of the sun in the lens flare. Taken with my Galaxy Nexus with no filters.

I took this at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live event for 2NE1's concert.
This is a shot of CL performing her DJ segment while the other members did a costume change for the next song. It kind of sucked at the time since I was being blinded by that light in the shot, but the shot came out nicely :)
