I imagine with the increasing popularity of Android as a platform, and all the official iphone clients from large companies being mirrored on android... some of the smaller development studios will start to take notice.
Haha... yeah, it's all good. Thanks for fixing it, but I'm still hopeful that someone - the company namely - will make a port over to Android for us. I'm tired of Apple cornering the market on great games that could do even more if only they were cross-platform.
I saw in other forums that people who emailed the devs asking for an Android version got a predictable answer saying something like, "We are focusing on the iPhone." But I thought what the hell, I'll send them an email so they know how many people want this game on Android. I just got my reply today:
Thanks for your interest!
We are indeed exploring the Android platform, and we're very excited about it, too! But we're not ready to announce anything just yet. =)
Gotta try DroidWords! It's pretty good. Don't think they have the same network as WWF, but it's a pretty slick app. Been playing obsessively for the last 2 weeks. Really nice graphics and you can play your friends or the CPU (yay, no waiting!)
I have been seriously addicted to DroidWords for the last few days. You can add random opponents to a buddy list so that you can challenge them to more games later on. It also has player vs. computer. The only problem is that the notifications don't work too well on my non-Froyo Samsung Epic 4G.
