I've completed the first phase of the game and it is now live. The game has RPG elements such as equipment, level gains, stat gains, etc. You have 2 types of battles, one involving your armies and other your heroes. Scout battles before and after you fight for chests, merchants and other things that come up during your scouting. Combat is user controlled but you can tell roughly if you will win by doing scout report. Though this is not always set in stone. For example, if you have strong attacker that is ranged and are facing melee enemies with stronger attack but weak defense then you can use the ranged attackers to beat your enemies! Enemies can also use this against you so you'll have to keep moving to protect your guys.

Added the icon and a few screens. Have a community building event going on. PvP Preview will be posted in the next few days! Once we have 1000 players we will launch PvP in stages to allow players to get used to it. Main differences will be you do loose units if you are defeated. Units will have to pay food upkeep each time they go to battle. Heroes will need to be healed before each battle if they took damage on last one. Healing items are common drops! More strategic battles during PvP with the use of crystals and other items. Unit/Hero skill trees will also be implemented in one of the stages (skills will add more uniqueness to your units/heroes and also make battles even more different each time).
