A friendly warning, the OTA for Nexus 9 might brick your device. There are some reported cases over at XDA and it happens to me as well.

To stay safe you can activate USB debugging, since that is apparently required to flash the stock ROM. With out it turned on, you are screwed.

So stay safe and be careful with Android N and Nexus 9 for now 😊

This seems to be just an issue with the Nexus 9 in general. I've had to send mine in before because it got bricked by an OTA and it's actually bricked again from an old Marshmallow OTA and I just haven't sent it back again.

Any ideas why the N9 has so many issues with OTAs? Especially if HTC wants to make more nexus devices in the future.

I did download the N OS and it appears to have bricked my system. Does anyone have any suggestions on a fix?

If you had USB debugging turned on, you can flash the stock ROM. But so far that is the only solution I have seen.

It bricked my nexus 6. It refuses to load and is stuck in the Google logo. I'm going to try wugfresh, since wiping cache and factory reset have done nothing.
