Hey, I own a nexus see and I haven't rooted my phone yet. I'm gonna root it soon just for the sake of ICS and I've done waiting for the official ICS upgrade for Nexus S. While going through a couple of forums I saw a lot of complaints about how the wifi and 4G networks doesn't work or get detected on ICS for Nexus S. Is this true. Should I go ahead and root my phone or wait for another 4 months for the official upgrade?? Thanks.

I don't know the status of the official update for the ns4g, however afaik there's no need to root the phone to install an official update, so long as the stock recovery is able to find the update file.
