And in the book he said that Apple would spend every cent they had to sue Google all over town until they stopped. He said he'd never settle for money, they had to stop. If you read the book he was weird in that way. He would never let anyone buy/use Apple's software (he turned down many chances to make money doing that), it had to go with their devices. Now that he's dead who knows how this will play out. Google does copy their stuff though, anyone who uses both would have to agree. Look at how the GN Gallery has a little filmstrip of your photo thumbnail running along the bottom of the screen. Exact copy of iPhoto.
Yeah, but some things are just common sense. Some things should just be used a certain way.

Should the Bell company sue apple that they also made a telephone that the user holds to the side of their head to talk? Should xerox (or whoever invented the mouse) sue apple for also making a mouse that the user clicks a button with the index finger, which selects items on a computer screen? Some of this stuff just needs to stop. It's way over the top

Oh I agree for the most part. To me many of Jobs' fixations weren't good at all. This one may have started with his intricate knowlege of his own company's OS, their patents, and of Android's OS. I don't care one way or the other. If Apple wants to fund the lawyers have at it. I bought 50 shares of their stock in October and it's up 25%. Whatever they are doing people like most of it.

Its not a film strip with tacky fake borders. Lol. Its a timeline of photos. And of I wanted to read about s jobs I would have looked closer in the toilet. And as far as apple copying google reference siri and notifications. Apple at its core is plagiarism s jobs said so himself. That someone beat him at his own game is fitting. Question: why isn't apple going after windows with multi gesture track pad support?

Apple's not hurting the consumer market, just their own image with these lawsuits. I have no reason to sign a petition.

That's because they're not focusing on development for their windows 8 phones. It's their own fault.
