    Default virus?

New to the forum a just seeking advice really. I've got a Samsung Galaxy S3 and have today started receiving a pop up warning saying check your ANDROID NOW for a virus with options of cancel and ok.

The pop up message only appears in Google Currents when reading The Metro *English newspaper* - it doesn't appear in any other currents section or any other part of the phone.

I've virus scanned and ad network checked and there's no issues found. I've not installed any new apps recently either.

    Here's a screenshot if it helps pic.twitter.com/EvJzFj33ra

    Help would be appreciated.

I get that occasionally too. I believe it's spam to try to get you to click on it - and install something not very nice on your phone. To me it's link-bait of the worst possible form. Dismiss it and carry on.
