If i am using a public wifi spot on my phone, is it considered safe to use apps such as facebook and other social media as well as netflix? The public wifi I would be using is in a quite public place so I know not to do anything important such as banking while on there, but I was just wondering if there was any risk in using those apps, all of which do not require my password to be actively entered, or if there was some risk that information could be accessed through them. I am sure it is somewhat of a silly question but Id rather be safe than sorry.
