smart watch with GPS and mp3?

I'm thinking of getting a Sony smart watch with GPS so I don't need to take my phone out running. But is there a smart watch that I could also transfer mp3 files to? I still need my "couch to 5k" coaching at the mo.

As the Sony SW3 is an Android Wear watch, you can transfer music to the watch itself for local playback.

Check out THIS article to see how. The article is for a Moto 360, but should work fairly similarly on a Sony SW3.

Well since this is the android wear forum and sw3 is the ONLY one that has gps, I would not agree with that statement...

This is a side note but it reminds me of the days when we had a phone, a music player and a gps as 3 separate devices.
The came the smartphones.
So I guess we are at that time again. ;-)

I purchased the Sony SW3 for the same reason. Running with integrated GPS (no need to carry a smartphone too) and listen to music via Bluetooth with my Jaybird Bluebuds.
I installed the Ghostracer app on the smartphone/smartwatch and it tracks my location very well. It can automatically sync with Strava or you can export and upload the Ghostracer GPX file to other fitness apps like Endomondo, Runkeeper, Runtastic, etc.
It has been very nice to run free of my large Note 4 and headphone wires.
