We've updated the forums Tapatalk software to support the use of Advanced search, and the ability to Like a post.

At least a section to discuss those stories and apps would be good. But the moderation overhead might be prohibitive.

If I were to install Tapatalk, would that make the Android Central app obsolete? What are the pros and cons. I'm still new here.

Welcome to Android Central. The Android Central app is a branded version of Tapatalk. Currently the feature set is the same, but there could potentially be additional features that we could add in the future.
