Not receiving email notifications on PMs & reply's

I lied...not getting notifications again.

I haven't been getting all of my notifications either. I had to remove a few emails from the SPAM folder in Gmail at one point. After that, nothing from AC has dropped into the SPAM folder again. Still, not seeing some notifications.

No worries . . . we still love you guys. (not THAT way)

Just reporting that I'm not getting Email Notifications either. However I just noticed that for whatever reason the emails have been getting sent to the Gmail Spam folder... weird because it worked for a good while after I set it up.

Sorry to report that I'm still not getting email updates. I've check my spam folder with no luck.

Yesterday I tried removing my subscriptions to a few threads and readded them hopping that it might do something since the forum was upgraded.

Well I told Gmail that the AC messages were not spam however this afternoon it still put one of the notification emails into the spam folder. Problem is, is I only got one notification email when there were a few different threads with replies in them. So it still seems to be a problem.

No luck on this one for me either. I have never gotten a notification or anything about subscription or whatnot. Sure, I haven't been a member allthat long, but just sayin'..

Cory, you seem like you are on top of this "issue" so I will PM you in case you didn't get a notification that this tread was updated...wait, maybe you won't get that notification either

mikedaub & genericmessage: assuming you still want email notifications, you need to check your subscription options in your User CP. I've checked both of your profiles and email notifications are not turned on, which at least partially explains why you are not getting them.

For everyone else, we are still actively working on it.

I thought you guys fixed it, cuz I've been getting mine regularly.

I believe part of the issue was that we won't get another notification until we actually visit the boards, right? That would explain why I didn't receive further notifications after reading only the email.

Just a thought.

Good guess, but you got it backwards

The instant notification only sends when you are not logged into the forum, according to VB.

Ah, so...simply closing the tab in our browser that has the AC forum (not logging out of AC) will trigger new notifications?

If so, interesting...!

(I've only used Kunena bbs for sites, thus far. This is all new news to me.)

I am only getting some notifcations.
It's sporadic at best and this login issue is driving me nuts.

The login issue should be fixed. Clear your cache along with your cookies and try again. Log in first on the main page and then log into the forums.

Ah I remember the good old Treocentral days when we had the display issue (caused by McAfee).

Well thanks for all of the work on this, but I'm still not getting email notifications.

My only work around is to check my user CP for updated threads, but that's when I remember to visit. Any other rabbits yall can pull out of your hat?

I'm not getting all of my notifications, either. So, you're not alone. I do what you just described -- I check my subscriptions in the CP section and go from there.

I kind of wonder if we're not getting notifications because one of the browsers on our phone is still connected to the forum. ??
