    Default HTC controlling itself

My HTC has worked fine up until now when the volume button controls itself. Without touching the phone the volume adjusts itself. When iItouch the phone it does the same thing. I am unable to restart or turn the phone off. It's really annoying and I can't use my phone now. Please help!

    Few thoughts..

Was the phone dropped or damaged in any way recently?

    Any recent water damage?

Possible its just had a hardware related malfunction.

I am the Tegra Champ. What this means is that from time to time NVIDIA might send me new products to try out. This will not affect my thoughts, ideas, or opinions about any product that are discussed in the forums. Those are still my own.

Sometimes problems with the headphone jack can cause volume issues, since some headphones have volume control. Try cleaning out the jack.
